Luis Enrique surprises with Guillamón and Ansu Fati in Spain World Cup squad list
The Luis Aragones room at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas was the venue from which the Asturian coach, in a Hollywood-style presentation, announced the 26 names that will be taken to the World Cup for Spain.
As usual with the coach, there are several names that no one expected, such as Valencia's Guillamón and FC Barcelona's Ansu Fati. Iñigo Martínez, Sergio Ramos, Borja Iglesias and Iago Aspas have all been left out.
The Spanish national team is in Group E of the first phase of the World Cup alongside Germany, Costa Rica and Japan. Luis Enrique's side will kick off on November 23rd against Costa Rica at the Al Thumama stadium.
