One of the UFC's best fights in 2022 will happen again. The clash between Brazilian Glover Teixeira and Czech Jiri Prochazka, current middleweight champion, is scheduled for December 10. Las Vegas will be the location of the UFC 282 fight. After speculation, the confirmation came through information from journalist John Morgan, from Sports Illustrated, on his Twitter.

The possibility of the clash happening at UFC 283 in January in Rio de Janeiro was even considered, but December seemed a better date for the fighters.

The two faced each other in June, in Singapore, when Glover, who was heading for a points victory, lost the fight in the final seconds, after his opponent finished. This was only Prochazka's third fight in the UFC, beating the Brazilian, who was coming off six straight losses.

Despite the victory over Glover, Prochazka admitted that he didn't perform well in the confrontation, immediately accepting the rematch request. The Czech has 13 victories in a row, with 29 wins, three losses and one draw. Glover (42) is the oldest fighter to take home the middleweight belt. In October 2021, he beat Poland's Jan Blachowicz, reaching 33 wins and eight losses.

His cartel is 33 wins and eight losses, and he was coming off six straight wins before losing to Prochazka. His humble manner and long-suffering history have also made him a favorite among UFC audiences in recent years.
