Tennis Tracker: Clay season begins as world reacts to Medvedev win in Miami
23:46 CET - Another result from Charleston as Anna Kalinskaya (24) has defeated Anhelina Kalinina (26) in straight sets 7-6, 6-4 and Yulina Putintseva (28) has beaten Elina Svitolina (28), with the Kazakh player needing three sets to advance into the next round.
23:35 CET - Play is under way in Houston with Daniel Elahi Galan (26) seeing off Zhizhen Zhang (26) 6-2, 6-3. Elsewhere, in Charleston, Sachia Vickery (27) is through after beating American compatriot Kayla Day (23) 6-4, 6-2.
21:42 CET - Play in Estori has come to a close with Fabio Fognini (35) beating fellow Italian Alessandro Giannessi (32) 6-1, 6-2.
Elsewhere, Alexei Popyrin (23) has won in Marrakech, whilst in Bogota on the WTA Tour there was a huge upset as world number 817 Francesca Jones (22) beat Nuria Parrizas-Diaz (31), who is 737 places above her in the rankings, 7-6, 6-1. Check out the highlights of that game below.
Meanwhile, Alize Cornet (33) secured her passage into the next round of WTA Charleston with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against Fiona Crawley (21).
20:47 CET - Garbine Muguruza (29) is taking an extended break from tennis which will see her miss the clay and grass season this year, the former French Open and Wimbledon champion said on Monday.

20:18 CET - In Marrakech, there were wins for Francesco Passaro (22) Juame Munar (25), whilst in Charleston, Julia Grabher (26) and Anna Blinkova (24) have advanced. And in Bogota, Eugenie Bouchard (29) - the 2014 Wimbledon finalist - has beaten Ylena In-Albon (24) 6-3, 6-2.

20:14 CET - Back on court, Marco Cecchinato (30) has beaten Diego Schwartzman (30) in Estoril after a tight second set tie-break. The Italian won the first set 6-3 and held his nerve to win that tie-break 10-8, and therefore the game 7-6, to advance. Check out the highlights now.
20:07 CET - Robin Soderling (38) has stepped down as Sweden's Davis Cup captain due to health and family reasons.
"With his knowledge, experience and great commitment, he has done a fantastic job as captain and I hope that in the future we will see Robin in a new role in Swedish tennis," said Christer Sjoo, the federation's secretary general.

18:53 CET - Back in Charleston, Linda Fruhvirtova (17) also needed three sets to upset world number 31 Jil Teichmann (25) 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. Elsewhere, there were also wins for Lesia Tsurenko (33) in Charleston and Laura Pigossi (28) in Bogota.
18:48 CET - Over on the clay in Marrakech, Hugo Gaston (22) has seen off Jan-Lennard Struff (32) in three sets. The Frenchman lost the opening set 6-3, but battled back to advance, taking out the next two 6-4, 7-5.
16:56 CET - Meanwhile, in the WTA tour in Charleston, Maddison Brengle defeated Kaia Kanepi 3-6, 4-6.
16:36 CET - After a challenging two-hour contest Sebastian Baez managed to get past Radu Albot in Estoril with a 5-7, 6-7 result.
14:40 CET - Pedro Cachin became the Estoril Open's first winner of the afternoon as he got past Chun Hsin Tseng.
A couple of Italian victories took place meanwhile in Marrakech as Riccardo Bonadio and Andrea Vavassori both progressed to the next round.
They were followed by Dimitar Kuzmanov's win over Hugo Grenier by 3-6, 6-4, 0-6.
6:30 CET - Daniil Medvedev's 19-win streak was cut short when he lost the Indian Wells final to world number one Carlos Alcaraz, however, the Russian found redemption on the other US coast as he lifted the Miami Open trophy on Sunday. Defeating Italian Jannik Sinner 5-7, 3-6.
Daniil Medvedev (27) noted that playing on hard courts suits him best after his win over Jannik Sinner (21) in the men's final in Miami.
"I can handle myself and be calm on the court when I feel like it is a real hardcourt," he said after the match.
