23:51 CET - More bad news for the home favourites as Leylah Fernandez (20) has knocked out American Emma Navarro (21) 6-2, 6-4 in 95 minutes.
23:43 CET - World number one Iga Swiatek (21) made light work of American Claire Liu (22) in just over an hour with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
There is some good news for the home fans with Tommy Paul (25) advancing into the next round, as has Slovakian Alex Molcan (25).

22:29 CET - An all British tie in the men's draw has gone the way of Jack Draper (21) in straight sets. He took down higher seeded Dan Evans (32) 6-4, 6-2.

10:00 CET - Third-seeded American Jessica Pegula roared back to beat Italy's Camila Giorgi 3-6 6-1 6-2 under the lights on centre court to set up a third round showdown with Russia's Anastasia Potapova.
8:42 CET - Australian Jordan Thompson said his thrilling second-round upset of second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas at Indian Wells on Friday provided the latest boost in confidence after a sluggish start to the year.
"A little bit of a slow start to the year," Thompson told reporters.
"Won a Challenger couple weeks ago and it was good to get those matches under my belt. I came here and got a tricky draw but have come through it.
"I think playing a lot of matches helped. I just felt comfortable on the match court and got match fit."

Some interesting overnight action saw Dubai Open finalists victorious, runner up Andrey Rublev defeated Czech Jiri Lehecka by 6-4, 6-2. While the champion, coming with great momentum, Daniil Medvedev has also pushed through to the third round after brushing off Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 6-3.
German Alexander Zverev got comfortably past Argentine Pedro Cachin with a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
Later today, Top 10 names take to the court in Felix Auger-Aliassime and Taylor Fritz as well as veterans looking to assert or retrieve dominance with Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka.
Meanwhile, in WTA, teenage prodigy Coco Gauff playing on her home turf defeated Crisitna Bucsa through 6-4, 6-2 result as she progresses to the third round.
World no. 3 Jessica Pegula is currently battling through her third and final set to complete her victroy against Italian Camila Giorgi.
World no. 1 Iga Swiatek takes to the court tonight, clashing against Claire Liu. Emma Raducanu continues her search back to the spotlight as she faces Magda Linette this evening.
Other big names in Australian Open finalist Elena Rybakina, world no.8 Daria Kasatkina and Beatriz Haddad Maia all return to the action.
