Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett almost came to blows with Ilia Topuria during yesterday's UFC 282 press conference.

The 27-year-old Scouser will take on American Jared Gordon this weekend in Las Vegas, USA, in the co-main event.

Pimblett has developed a rivalry with Topuria, sparking up earlier this year when he threw a bottle of hand sanitizer at the 25-year-old.

Topuria is up against Bryce Mitchell in the UFC 282 main card opener, but took aim at "The Baddy" in the recent press conference.

Pimblett took no time to respond, saying: “He’s obsessed with me, he hasn’t stopped tweeting about me all week. He needs to sort his life out.

“I haven’t seen him all week. They've (the UFC) have kept us apart because when I last saw him he got a bottle of hand sanitizer bounced off his head."

Topuria lost his patience and eventually shouted back at Pimblett: "I walk like a king in your streets. Shut up, or I’m going to stand up and crush your face right now.”

Pimblett responded: “What’ll you do? You’ll do nothing, go sit back down, you f*****g mushroom."

Security ensured the duo didn't come to blows, but it made for a lively affair.

Pimblett takes on Gordon this coming Sunday at 3am (UK time), while Topuria faces Mitchell at the same event.
